Beethoven's Big Green Planting Event

Thank you for visiting. We're expecting EVERYONE from Beethoven to come and help this Saturday, May 31. Many other people from our neighborhood will also volunteer for this historic planting event and we need to know if we can count on you. Show your support and add your name to this list of volunteers below. All ages and abilities needed! We need people to dig holes, plant trees, drive stakes, spread mulch, serve food and water, set up, clean up, and to have some fun! Come for two hours, come for the day. It doesn't matter - JUST COME!!

This is for our children, and for many generations to come. Come and help. Leave your mark on our school! Here’s a perfect opportunity to do something positive about the environment! Planting these trees will cool the neighborhood, shade the kids, beautify the landscape, and clean the air.

DATE: Saturday, May 31, 2008

TIME: 8AM to 4PM, (setup from 7:00 am, tear down & clean up until 5:00PM)

PLACE: Beethoven Elementary School, 3711 Beethoven Street, Los Angeles, CA 90066

DONATE: If you cannot attend the event, consider making a donation. Donate a case of water (bring to the Parent Center at Beethoven Elementary before the event). OR Donate your hard-earned money to offset our expenses. Visit our online donation site now.

SETUP CREW 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM

FOOD & SERVICE CREW (SERVE FOOD AND WATER, CHECK IN VOLUNTEERS) ANYTIME between 7:30AM and 4:00PM

GENERAL VOLUNTEERS (PLANT, DIG, SPREAD MULCH) ANYTIME between 8AM and 4PM

CLEAN UP CREW

SPREAD MULCH, SWEEP, PUT THINGS AWAY 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
